Observation

In the case of switching off the power supply, see whether the components are connected correctly, whether the capacitor and resistance pins are in good contact, whether the surface of each component is charred or cracked, and whether the copper foil on each circuit board is burnt out. At the same time, you can touch the surface of some chips by hand to see if there is a very hot phenomenon.
Substitution
When it is impossible to determine which component is responsible for some failure phenomena, the suspected component can be removed by replacement method. The suspected parts can be taken to a good computer to try, and the good parts can also be connected to a malfunctioning computer to try. For example, if the memory is incorrect in self-checking or the capacity is incorrect, this method can be used to judge the real culprit of the failure.
Software diagnostics
Here we generally refer to testing by random attached diagnostic programs or system testing software. It is generally used to check the faults of various interface circuits.
